Lonely Planet review
South Kona's only hostel is your basic backpacker dive. Choose from cramped dorms (number 10 is best) or fresher, more comfortable (but overpriced) private rooms. Bathrooms are shared (and not for the modest). It's between the 110- and 111-mile markers; look for the kayaks (single/double $38/58).
Our independent authors have visited Pineapple Park and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Captain Cook.
