Wild Flower
One of the largest patios on the Euclid Ave strip is ideal for hours of people-watching. The menu is fresh and there are seasonal specials. Lots of appetizers are good for sharing, dinner mains include steaks, seafood and pasta. Brunch is a cut above the norm.

Picasso's Cafe
A hip fusion of bistro, bar and venue, Picasso has a full bar and is renowned for its Bloody Mary's at noon. It also has an artistic sensibility, with works by local artists on display. Live music leans to acoustic, while the food is fresh and inventive. Grab a table outside.

Coney I-Lander
On Tulsa's close-in Southroads area on the east side you'll find a string of iconic old local fast-food places serving brilliant burgers and more. This small chain is especially beloved for its Coney Island hot dogs, which are laden with rich chili. Even better are the Frito pies, which take the namesake and bury it under chili, cheese and onions. Addictive.

Classic Cup
A long-running classic that has thrived even as upscale chains have muscled into the Plaza. Think upscale bistro fare (complex salads, sandwiches with cheeses from Europe, tender little steaks and the like) served with panache. Two tough scores you should try for: a table on the streetside terrace and brunch.
