We are planning to experience west coast for 9D/9N along the west coast. I could find a few similar questions but they didn't solve the purpose. We are planning to fly to Seattle on Thursday night, start the trip on Friday morning and fly back from Vegas on Sunday (Gotto be at work on Monday :(). I understand this is a shorter trip for west coast but want to make the most of 9 days we can spare.
TIA for your answers/suggestions.
P.S. : We don't mind resting a little and travelling a lot.
Hey, how are you doing?
A couple of guys heading to Alaska this summer, we want to rent a RV but most of the websites I´ve been checking out rent RVs for 200$ per day which for a fortnight makes almost 3,000$. Wooow! I haven´t found anything cheaper. Is there any agency with good prices or do you recommend renting a regular car and spend the nights in hostels or Bed and breakfasts/hotels?
I didn´t know this was so expensive.
Thank you for your tips.
Hello one and all.
I have read other posts on this subject, however many are rather old and I would love some up-to-date answers. I have read, to within an inch of my life ,US embassy sites etc, and am none-the-wiser, well maybe a little ha-ha. So here goes:

I am going on a Alaska trip in the beginning of June i and have been looking around for tours that take you out to see the country.
I have found this tour, but have not been able to find other that begin in june and end before June 15. http://www.getupandgotours.com/documents/AlaskaGetUpAndGoToursBrochure.pdf (page 17), does someone know any other webpages/tours, and does anybody know if this tour is worth the money?
We are staying with friends in the Newport Beach area of LA in October for a week. We don't want to outstay our welcome and are looking for some day trips or overnight stays so we can go off, either on our own or with our friends, to break things up. I fancied Yosemite or Grand Canyon but a brief check of the distances suggest these would take too much travel time. What would others recommend? I wondered about the Joshua Tree national park for a taste of authentic western desert: I see there is…
Saw an ad for this in the local (to Angelenos) new-age circular and since y'all are always looking for "unique, off-the-beaten-path" things to do I figured some one might be interested.
Contact in the Desert - an EPIC weekend of exploration into extraterrestrial life, ancient aliens, human origins, crop circles, UFO sightings, anti-gravity machines, contact experiences and the "need to know" - will happen June 3-6 at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center. Weekend passes are a couple hundred bucks but…
