  1. Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library

    Author Kurt Vonnegut was born and raised in Indy, and this humble museum pays homage with displays including his typewriter, Pall Mall cigarettes and Purple Heart medal from WWII. Don't miss the painting of the Tralfamadorians (from Slaughterhouse-Five) and his raft of rejection letters from publishers. Vonnegut's children donated most of the artifacts.
