In an effort to balance the sheer karmic spectacular of Keija's birthday weekend, the universe sent me on a day-long bus ride, which kicked off with a six hour delay and a drug addict relieving herself on the ground in front of me while trying to engage me in conversation. Faced with the prospect of sharing a bus seat with her and her urine-soaked leggings, I was actually grateful when the Indianapolis-bound convicted murderer decided to befriend me. At least he retained full control of his bladder.
