The best used & rare bookstore in the country!

    rudythecat recommends this,

If you like books, you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. Four floors of a dark and dusty old factory right in downtown Detroit. There's no place like it anywhere! Powells and The Strand have new books, too. Zubal in Cleveland isn't open to the public. This place is pure used books. Like Danielle Steele? There are shelves of her books. Like Philosophy? A whole aisle or two of philosophy. No coffee. No pastries. Just books. And, cheap, too. They have a rare book room in the other building, but they're pretty protective of that place (as they should be) and it's not really open to the public. But those are the books on their website, and they're usually able to bring over anything you have seen online for you to buy. They have thousands of art books, too, tucked away in the other building. Best of all, free parking in their lot. They're right at the top of a freeway exit ramp, and just steps from the Doubletree Hotel. This is the place to go in Detroit for books.
