Getting there & around

The Port Columbus Airport (CMH; 614-239-4000; www.port-columbus.com) is 10 miles east of town. There is no direct public bus. A cab to downtown costs $20 to $24.

Greyhound (614-221-4642; www.greyhound.com; 111 E Town St) buses run at least six times daily to Cincinnati ($17 to $25, two hours) and Cleveland ($19 to $27, 2½ hours). Often cheaper, Megabus (877-462-6342; www.megabus.com/us) runs once daily to Cincinnati and twice daily to Chicago. It departs from downtown and the university; check the website for exact locations. There is no Amtrak train service.
