  1. Blind Lemon

    This is an old institution that's been around since the early 1960s. Trains, toys and other bric-a-brac hang from the ceiling at this gem of a bar. As well as its history and atmosphere, it offers live music every night.

  2. Music Hall

    The acoustically pristine Music Hall is the city's classical music venue, where the symphony orchestra, pops orchestra, opera and ballet hold their seasons. This is not the best neighborhood, so be cautious and park nearby.

  3. Southgate House

    On the Kentucky side of the river, this is a brilliant music venue where you can see local musicians and touring bands alike. There is also a lounge with pool tables and an art gallery presenting the best of the local art scene. The house itself is worth checking out, amongst others it was the home of General Thompson - inventor of the 'Tommy Gun'.
