    McDonald’s Cycle Center

    The McDonald’s Cycle Center at Millennium Park offers 300 bike storage spaces, repairs and showers to make bike commuting an appealing option for workers. It’s also a convenient place to pick up rental bikes (per hour/day from $10/35), including road, hybrid, tandem and children’s bikes.

  3. Yellow Jersey

    Take advantage of Madison’s lakes and 200 miles of trails. For rentals, try Yellow Jersey for two-wheelers, and The Paddlin’ Shop for water-faring craft. Both are near Capitol Sq (three blocks and 10 blocks, respectively).

    In Uptown, a couple blocks west of Lake Calhoun, this shop rents bikes (helmet, lock and bike map included); credit card and driver's license are required. It also offers two- to four-hour cycling tours ($39 to $49) around the water Friday through Sunday; reserve in advance.
