Walt Disney World

Getting there & around

Most hotels in Kissimmee and Orlando – and all Disney properties – offer free transportation to WDW. Disney-owned resorts also offer free transportation from the airport.

If you’re not staying in a Disney resort, you can drive to any of the four parks via I-4, which is well marked. Parking is $10 in the Disney lots, and the Magic Kingdom lot is huge; unless you get there early, you’ll want to catch a tram just to get to the entrance.

Within WDW, a complex network of monorails, boats and buses can get you anywhere you want to go, including resorts and Downtown Disney. Pick up a copy of the Walt Disney World Transportation Guide/Map at Guest Relations just inside each park’s ticket turnstiles or at your resort to understand your options.
