Lonely Planet review for Bradfordville Blues Club

Don't be creeped out by the long drive down a quiet dirt road. You'll be glad you braved it when you arrive at the famed cinderblock building, where the friendly, old-time hippie hosts fired-up blues artists ranging from the known to the about-to-be. Torches and a raging bonfire light the yard, and the club's small tabletops bear painted portraits of blues greats from Bobby Rush to Gatemouth Brown. From the intersection of Thomasville Rd (Hwy 319) and I-10 (exit 301), head north on Thomasville Rd 4.5 miles; turn right onto Bradfordville Rd and follow it 3 miles then turn right onto Sam's Lane (there's a sign lit by a torch) and follow a bumpy, short dirt road. Veer left at the fork in the road; it's at the top of the hill.
