Andiamo!
- Miami, USA
- Restaurants › Pizza
It looks like a ’50s drive-through (it’s actually an old car wash), but Andiamo! isn’t old fashioned. This airy eatery breaks ground with award-winning pizza and toppings that range from goat cheese to white tuna. You can get creative or settle for excellent interpretations of classics such as the Vesuvius: salami, hot peppers and olives, mmm.

Pizza Luna
A popular spot both for folks grabbing a slice on the go or for savvy locals picking up whole pies, this is where you'll find 'New York-style' slices, cheese-stuffed calzones and pizza toppings from the standard (pepperoni, onion, meatballs) to the strange (avocado, feta cheese, bay leaves). There's also a large array of budget-wise salads.

Pizzalley's on St George
The aroma of homemade dough and melting imported Italian cheese wafting from Pizzalley's baking ovens accounts for the long lines for a table. Vine-draped arched mirrors deceptively enhance the size of the elongated dining room; there's also a hidden covered courtyard out back, but the best seat in the house is the tiled rooftop terrace.

WonderWorks Outta Control Magic Show
WonderWorks Outta Control Magic Show is a 90-minute comedy and magic show that includes all the pizza, popcorn, beer and soda you can make disappear. Kids are often picked to spin plates and perform crazy dances, and adults are equally humiliated with prop-fuelled renditions of 'I Got You Babe.'

Giordano's Pizza
The preferred take-out/delivery pizza joint in the area has great stuffed- and thin-crust pizzas plus hearty pasta dishes and a surprisingly wicked eggplant parmesan. They deliver to hotel rooms and vacation homes.

Steve's Pizza
- Miami, USA
- Restaurants › Pizza
So many pizza chains compete for the attention of tourists in South Beach, but ask a Miami Beach local where to get the best pizza and they'll tell you about Steve's. This is New York–style pizza, thin crust and handmade with care and good ingredients. New branches of Steve's are opening elsewhere in Miami, all in decidedly nontouristy areas, which preserves that feeling of authenticity.
