Peg Leg Pete's

Lonely Planet review for Peg Leg Pete's

This once-humble beach shack has morphed into a massively popular, wildly overcrowded eatery/bar/gift shop. But Pete's still serves some of the best oysters on the beach – try 'em raw, or Cajun-spiced, or topped with crumbled Parmesan. Casual seafood dishes round out the menu, but the live music and pirate-themed decor are the real draws. If you don't mind a wait, dinner here is good, noisy fun.
