Rack rates vary dramatically according to demand, change within the course of a week or even a day, and plummet for no apparent reason. Rates outside theme park hubs are lowest from June through September and highest between Christmas and New Year, and in March and April. Rates quoted below are a range during high season. You'll find every conceivable motel and hotel chain in every nook and cranny of greater Orlando and plenty of cheap independent motels, particularly along Hwy 192 east of I-4. Most hotels offer complimentary shuttles to the theme parks, but if you plan on using this service always ask about details when selecting a room, as many require advance reservations, fill up easily and only run a couple of times a day. They can be miserably inconvenient.
