Lonely Planet review for East Martello Tower
The East Martello Tower is home to Robert the haunted doll, the inspiration for all those Chucky movies. (He's in a glass case to keep him from making mischief in the rest of the museum.)

Go Visit Robert!
bigsully recommends this,
It's humorous to see the letters on the wall of the museum apologising to Robert about taking his picture without permission and asking him to remove the streak of bad luck they expierenced after doing so- (my wife and I decided to not risk it....our luck usually goes from bad to worse and sprinkled with darn good from time to time.....)
A few weeks after going to the museum, we were talking to some friends and showing them some pictures from our trip, and they mentioned the museum and visiting Robert. They never read about the doll, and didn't know anything of his history. While they were there, just before closing they walked through the museum and came up on Robert. She took her camera out to snap a picture of the odd looking doll and the power in the museum went out- it isn't that strange of an occurance, but at the same time the digital camera she took out went black and they had to walk out of the building in the dark- (the batteries were fine, and it came back on in the parking lot)
Robert really doesn't like his picture taken..... unless you ask politely.
