Gaucho-costumed servers herd a never-ending cavalcade of meats from table to table in this Brazilian churrasco -style steakhouse. And while that may sound campy, it's not: Chima's upscale locale is one of the nicest on Las Olas.

    Love the whole package...

    Well, if you are a vegetarian than you won't like Chima's. It's also not for the cheap...

    Starting out you are greeted by a waiter at the street asking about a reservation (if you want to go on a weekend or thurs/friday it is highly reccomended) and ushered into a covered walkway filled with open fire and fountains. This leads to an open air patio where you can enjoy your favourite beverage under the stars and watch the grilling in the kitchen...if you're lucky they have the live band that night!

    Inside is also visually stunning as you try to decide whether to eat all the decadent salads or flip the coaster to bring on the main course. Great wines, excellent food and cool atmosphere leave me wishing I lived local. Because of this we eat here every time I'm in the area...

    Oh, be prepared for a long meal, when drinking and eating with your other you will completely lose track of time! Chima's is my idea of a south FL hotspot.
