Lonely Planet review
Defining the southern end of Seabreeze Blvd, this Sheraton hotel straddles the uberpopular South Beach and offers breezy ocean views from the majority of its aqua-and-white styled rooms. Built by M Tony Sherman in 1956, it looks like a giant cruise ship tethered to the sidewalk. Its 'hull', the Wreck Bar , offers porthole views on the underwater world of the swimming pool. Come at the weekend and you'll be able to catch the mermaid show.
