Daytona Beach International Airport (386-248-8069; www.flydaytonafirst.com) is just east of the Speedway, and the Greyhound bus station (386-255-7076, 800-231-2222; 138 S Ridgewood Ave) has service around Florida.

Daytona is close to the intersection of two of Florida’s major interstates. I-95 is the quickest way to Jacksonville (about 70 miles) and Miami (200 miles), and I-4 will get you to Orlando in about an hour.

Votran (386-756-7496; www.votran.com; adult/child 6-17 $1.25/50¢) runs buses and trolleys throughout the city.
