St Pius Church information
The Romanesque revival-style church was built between 1885 and 1892 and was a hub for the city's Irish immigrants. Its smooth masonry contrasts with the rough stones of its contemporaries. A mural of parishioners eating corn while Jesus looks on graces the exterior.
