Beard-award-winning chef Shawn McClain’s slick, upscale veggie haven is anything but conventional. With a few nods to the meatily inclined via seafood, the menu focuses on creative seasonal odes to meatless fare. Rich broths, curries and dumplings all make appearances. It’s a small-plate setup, so you’ll have to order several to make a meal. Or opt for the five-course ‘tasting’ (four savory dishes and dessert). Add wine pairings for $35.
