Revolution Brewing information
Raise your fist to Revolution, a massive, industrial-chic brewpub that fills glasses with heady beers like the 7% Eugene porter (named for Eugene Debs, the leader of Chicago’s Pullman strike in 1894). The suds are high quality – the brewmaster led the way for Chicago's exploding craft beer scene. The haute pub grub includes fig-and-pancetta pizza and bacon-fat popcorn with fried sage.
Revolution also has a tap room (open 2pm to 10pm Wednesday through Saturday) nearby at 3340 N Kedzie Ave. It's not usually as crowded as the brewpub, and offers a relaxed atmosphere for hop-heads to knock back pints. Free brewery tours at 6pm are an added bonus.
