Does anyone have any recommended routes to take (we'd be looking for a scenic route)? We thought about stopping off in Seattle, Portland and San Francisco along the way and perhaps detouring slightly to visit Yosemite National Park. We're thinking about…
Hi. Is it worth it to rent a car in Juneau, or would it make more sense to just walk and take taxi cabs? We'll be there for five days, spending a bit of time being tourists in town and a good amount of time going on day hikes and being active in a low-key, vacationy way. At first, the rental car seemed like a good way to do excursions outside the city, but upon hearing that the city is basically cut off from the rest of the world, I'm thinking that such a plan might not be an option (aside from…

What do you do when you fall in love with a place? You go there again and again. And that is what we did! This was our third trip to Alaska. After lot of planning around the dates and routes, we came up with an itinerary that allowed us enough time to explore and capture each place through the lens. This was a 7 day trip and we prepared ourselves to drive a lot.
Our trip started with flying to Anchorage from LA, then a drive to Denali National Park followed by a trip to Valdez with a stop over at…
