Lonely Planet review
An atmospheric wooden building hung with historical black-and-white photographs, this year-round hotel is a place to lay your head and still feel like you’re in the forest. Wide porches have wooden rocking chairs, and homespun rooms contain rough-hewn wood furniture and patchwork bedspreads. Cozy up to the big stone fireplace on chilly nights with a board game.
Our independent authors have visited John Muir Lodge and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Yosemite & the Sierra Nevada.
