Out of the way but totally worth it!

I come to Santa Barbara often and I've been to many of their beaches. Carpenteria has very nice beaches along with really nice surf. This beach is right by Rincon, a famous surf spot and well worth the trip out there as well. Parking is a bit much but it is a State Park. It's pretty close to some good food so there is never a shortage of a good time! My family and I always had a good time whenever we were brought out here for sure. It was a bit far from my hotel considering we stayed in town but we managed. We stayed at the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). So budget friendly and I love coming back and lounging by their great pools after a long day out!
