For someplace dressier than Brophy Brothers, reserve a table in the nautical-theme dining room or outside overlooking the sailboats. Come between 17:00 and 18:30 for around US$15 to around US$17 sunset dinner specials, such as an 8oz steak or grilled salmon. Upstairs at the publike Endless Summer, the scene is Jack Johnson-casual (and cheaper), with fish-and-chips, burgers, billiards and beer.

    A Great Steak!

    I had one of the best steaks of my life at Chuck's Grill. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well and that it was right on the beach. The service was very good, they for sure earned their tip as well that my meal was cooked to perfection. The 8 oz steak was cooked just right with a side salad and potatoes, I was very happy with everything. My family who lives in town took me and I was so happy! I loved that it was super close to my hotel too! The Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). So affordable and in the best possible location! Love it!
