Lonely Planet review for Arlington Center for the Performing Arts

Aside from being home to the Santa Barbara Symphony, the Arlington Center for the Performing Arts is a drop-dead-gorgeous, old-fashioned movie palace when the orchestra isn't playing. Great place to catch a flick.

I love the outside feel while you are sitting in a theatre. SO Cool! I went to the Harry Potter 7 premier here and it was awesome! Big screen and there is not a bad seat in the house. I loved it! Right downtown, you can catch a movie here and then off to have a great meal across the street at Carlitos or Opal! I love it! Love that all of this is so close to my hotel too! The Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). So affordable and the location is so great!
