The regional Yolobus (916-371-2877) route 42 costs $1.50 and runs hourly between the airport and downtown (take the clockwise loop) and also goes to West Sacramento, Woodland and Davis. Local Sacramento Regional Transit (RT; 916-321-2877) buses cost $1.50 per ticket or $3.50 for a day pass. RT also runs the Downtown Area Shuttle (DASH) trolley between Old Sacramento and downtown, and Sacramento’s light-rail system, which is mostly used for commuting to outlying communities.
