We are doing a road trip in the States and have 7 days to enjoy a small part of the Californian coast, from San Francisco to LA.
We like nature and the ocean and are not too bothered about spending much time in LA on this trip, other than to fly out. With that in mind, we are planning:
2 nights in Santa Cruz
2 nights in Monterey / Pacific Grove
2 nights in Santa Barbara
1 night in LA.
While in Santa Cruz and Monterey we are planning to explore Big Sur, enjoy a bit of beach time and go…
We are two UK citizens, aged 30 and 33 and we love the USA, a lot!
We would like to stay beyond the 90 days that a standard tourist visa gives us and are wondering if anyone has managed to stay beyond this without a work permit?
We have plenty of money saved for our next trip so proof of income wouldn't be a problem.
We would ultimately like to live permanently in California but we hear it's pretty impossible.

A few friends and i are planning a 5 week road trip across the US starting in New York and ending in Los Angeles.
Any tips on renting cars ?
We plan on camping a lot on this trip.
Any tips and tricks on what to pack.
Plus any other help would be great.
Would love you your help and thoughts.
I'm planning a 10 day holiday to Hawaii staying in Waikiki.
We are planning to do three day trips to Maui, Kauai and Big Island.
Do you think the day trips are worth it or is it better off staying on the other islands?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm planning to leave Chicago Sep 30, arriving in Charleston Oct 8. I want to stop in Asheville, NC, and spend 3 or 4 days in Savannah. I'm looking for suggestions on a route, things to see along the way, reasonable places to stay in Asheville and Savannah.
Me and my husband are embarking on a 6 month adventure starting with America, hopefully September 2018. We hope to spend 4-6 weeks travelling between Florida and California (or vice versa, depending on our flights and onward destination) with a week in Los Angeles (Disneyland here we come!) .
This may seem naive but is there are way to do this without hiring a car? Such as coach or bus? We're totally open to route suggestions and cities to stop in/avoid (planning 3 day stops at a time at…
