Howdy travellers =)
This will be my first time in the US of A, and i couldnt be more excited.
So here's whats up, me and my companion Aga, are planning a mini road trip from Chicago to NY starting on the 12th of August. The plan is too take an alternative fun route, arrive in NY on Sunday 14th and see some interesting things along the way.
The exact route and attractions are debatable, but the plan so far would be to spend the first night in Cincinnati. The next day check out Old Man's Cave at…
Hi everyone. Just joined. First time poster. Be gentle.
I'm a 27 year old, unlicensed Massachusetts resident. I'll be traveling to Virginia to attend a survivalist course at the Mountian Shepard Wilderness Survival School. Now I have all kinds of equipment. I've got a poncho the doubles as a tent, I've got a whole mosquito net suit, I've got water purification tablets, a lifestraw, a solar charger for my phone and so on. I'm feeling pretty prepped. I also have my hunting knife, a fold up…
Desperately needing advice on best way to spend NYE in NYC 2016/2017,family of 4 with teenage sons 18 and 16 yo. We are staying on 54th Street a couple of blocks south of Central Park. Would love a good vantage point for fireworks. Worth going to Times Square? Budget mid range- won't have crazy money to spend but as this will probably be the only time we will be in New York as a family for NYE we would like to do it justice.

It's an awesome green Chevrolet Astra van, pull down bed, amazing for camping etc, all kit would be included.
My girlfriend and I are going to Canada in two weeks. We're thinking of a quick 1-day visit to Seattle from Vancouver but we don't have any USA visa.
If flying from Europe to the US an ESTA would be needed. However, since we've been a week in Iran last April, we cannot get an ESTA but rather need to apply for a traditional (and time-consuming) visa we couldn't get before we leave.
So, we're wondering if the same rules apply if…
A tip for those wishing to rent a car with ALAMO in Las Vegas : be sure before signing it comes to your original contract, and not one with added supplements and options. Recently, I’ve signed confident with ALAMO, unfortunately ... Here is my story:
On the 2d of January 2016, I received my final e-mail confirmation of renting and payment in ALAMO Rent-a-Car for a Toyota RAV4 (or similar, as usual) - 18 days from 23 June 2016, starting from Las Vegas International Airport. This prepaid rent (€…
