Hello from Germany! :)

My stepson is planning to travel with his girlfriend the West Coast from May to July 2017.
He will be 19 years old at that point and has already an European Driving Licence.

Does anyone have some advice where to rent a car or how to buy one?

I have already found the Fox Car rental who rents cars to 19 year olds. But are there any others?
Or should he buy a car?

Thank you!

Hi I am a single female 19 year old college student from Brooklyn planning to travel solo to Pacific NW during winter 2017. I have a 6 week intersession break, from 12/21/16 to beginning of February although I don't plan on being away for all of it. My birthday is 12/22 and I want to celebrate at home so I won't be leaving earlier than 12/23. I'm flying to Chicago then taking Amtrak to Seattle. I'm set on Seattle and Vancouver but is it realistic to try to do Portland as well? I would appreciate…

Hello,

I've been to Taos a few times, including a visit during 9/30 San Geronimo day.

I read some article online (dated back to 1910s), which mention sundown-dance before (or after) 9/29 San Geronimo Eve Vespers, but that article is long time ago. I wonder if anyone has info on that?

2nd question…

**i am looking for a small, artsy Town in Arizona that has friendly folks, don't need a car, Is not too cold in November. I want to do some writing, so need a quiet but easy place to live inexpensively. Basically just need wifi and a grocery store and can get s bus to Ohoenix or Tucson once in awhile. I'm an older, well-travelled American woman. I'm currently in Greece working with refugees. Would also volunteer in Arizona with refugees. And want to rent a studio for reasonable rent. Any…

Our Trip

We love road trips! We spent several days exploring Montana and Wyoming (with a pit stop in Deadwood, South Dakota) visiting Yellowstone, Glacier, and Grand Teton National Parks. Below are our quick tips and reviews.

Our Itinerary:
Drive from Rapid City to Deadwood, SD (because we love the show!). Review: Would not make a special trip to see the city.
While in Deadwood, SD we also made a stop to see Mount Rushmore.

Mount Rushmore to Billings, Montana and stopped for the night at The…
