Hi,

I will be flying to LA from Sydney on the 17th of November. I’m looking at traveling for several weeks or months, doing a road trip across America. After that I will likely travel to Mexico or Cuba.
The total budget I have will be maximum $5,000 US and I will need to complete the journey within my 3 month tourist visa. I was thinking about staying in hostels in the major cities, but then camping and Boondocking (sleeping in a van) along the way to save money.

Can anyone advise best location of accommodation for 3 nights in Orlando when our primary purpose will be a day at Disney World, a day at Harry Potter Wizarding world and another general sight seeing. Ideally with easy access to both the "Worlds". How far apart are these 2 theme parks?

Hello from Germany! :)

My stepson is planning to travel with his girlfriend the West Coast from May to July 2017.
He will be 19 years old at that point and has already an European Driving Licence.

Does anyone have some advice where to rent a car or how to buy one?

I have already found the Fox Car rental who rents cars to 19 year olds. But are there any others?
Or should he buy a car?

Thank you!

I have a 6 week intersession break, from 12/21/16 to beginning of February although I don't plan on being away for all of it. My birthday is 12/22 and I want to celebrate at home so I won't be leaving earlier than 12/23. I'm flying to Chicago then taking Amtrak to Seattle. I'm set on Seattle and Vancouver but is it realistic to try to do Portland as well? I would appreciate…
