It's a chain, it's cookie-cutter, but this reasonably-priced 102-room hotel is also centrally-located for easy access to Orange County's most popular attractions. The beach? 6.4km (4mi). Disneyland? 19.2km (12mi) Jack-in-the-Box? Next door.
The other lure at this just-off-the-interstate chain? Breakfast. Most mornings you'll find a hot entree like scrambled eggs and bacon, or ham and cheese omelets. Rooms sport a regal red decor with occasional fleur-de-lis accents. You'll find a refrigerator, coffeemaker, and alarm clock in all of them, but if you want a microwave or hairdryer, better ask. There's a bit of traffic noise from busy Hwy 39, so ask for a room further back if you're sensitive. Outside, flower-boxes line the railings, jazzing up the joint with a nice floral flair. The large pool with its many lounge chairs is also nice. There's free wi-fi if you need it as well as an Internet-accessible computer in the lobby.
