Lonely Planet review
Built in 1878 as the town’s first hotel, this is like a piece of the Old West. The modern garden suites sit behind the main building and don’t have a shade of old-school class, but are modern and serviceable. As gorgeous as it is, the prices are inflated, especially for the rooms with shared bathrooms.
Our independent authors have visited Mendocino Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended historic hotels in Mendocino.
