Lonely Planet review
Wake up to grazing deer and dew on the ground at this spartan 1907 military compound snuggled in the woods. It has comfortable beds and two well-stocked kitchens, and guests can gather round a fireplace in the common room, shoot pool or play ping-pong. Hiking trails beckon outside.
Our independent authors have visited HI Marin Headlands and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Marin Headlands.
