Seventeen miles northwest of Chester, this is a fabulously secluded place inside the park's southern boundary. Guests, many of whom are faithful repeat visitors, use the hot springs-fed swimming pool or go horseback riding.
Off Hwy 44, in Shingletown almost 20 miles west of the park. This place has all the KOA amenities: a children's playground, deli and laundry facilities.
The park has eight developed campgrounds with many more in the surrounding Lassen National Forest. Campgrounds in the park are open from late May to late October, depending on snow conditions.
