Getting there & away
Land
Bus
Frequent departures are available with Greyhound (714-999-1256; 100 W Winston Rd) to/from downtown LA ($8.50, one hour) and to San Diego ($16, two to three hours).
Car
The Anaheim Resort is just off I-5 on Harbor Blvd, about 30 miles south of downtown LA. The park is roughly bordered by Ball Rd, Disneyland Dr, Harbor Blvd and Katella Ave.
Arriving at Disneyland and DCA is like arriving at an airport. Giant easy-to-read overhead signs indicate ramps to take for the theme parks, hotels or Anaheim’s streets. The system is remarkably ordered.
Train
The depot next to Angels Stadium is where Amtrak (714-385-1448; 2150 E Katella Ave) trains stop. Tickets to/from LA’s Union Station are $10 (45 minutes), to San Diego it’s $21 (two hours).
Air
The Airport Bus (info 714-938-8937; www.airportbus.com) runs between Disneyland-area hotels and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at least hourly ($19/28 one way/roundtrip). It also serves John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Santa Ana ($14/24).
