Alpha Gallery information
Presenting the work of some headline-grabbing artists (sometimes local, sometimes international), this starkly minimalist gallery mostly shows oils (some figurative, some abstract), though occasionally you’ll see sculpture, mixed media and prints. In addition to Milton Avery, whose estate is represented here, Alpha has special shows of masters such as Max Beckmann and Pablo Picasso. There's also an annual new-talent exhibition that is worth checking out.
