Maria’s Pastry
Three generations of Merola women are now working to bring you Boston’s most authentic Italian pastries. Many claim that Maria makes the best cannoli in the North End, but you'll also find more elaborate concoctions like sfogliatelle (layered, shell-shaped pastry filled with ricotta) and aragosta (cream-filled 'lobster tail' pastry). Note the early closing time: eat dessert first!
