Red House information
Formerly known as the Cox-Hicks House, this quaint clapboard house dates to 1802. Reminiscent of an old-fashioned inn, it retains its historic charm with its wide-plank wood floors, cozy layout and functioning fireplace. In summer, the patio overlooks a quiet corner of Harvard Sq. The menu is mostly seafood and pasta; half-portions available. Oysters are two for $1 from noon to 6pm.
