It’s now named for the 1956 novel about former Boston mayor James Michael Curley. But the beautiful lobby bar of the Omni Parker House hotel was a hallowed haunt for Boston’s 19th-century intelligentsia and politicians. Enjoy a dish of hot nuts and drink a bourbon at this throwback to Old Boston.
