   About 2 miles west of Harvard Sq, the Fresh Pond is a nine-hole public course that wraps around the city’s reservoir. It’s easily accessible but the setting is suburban. Drive west on Mt Auburn St and turn right on the Fresh Pond Parkway and left on Huron Ave.
