Oh, Güero’s, how we love you. Why must you make us wait? Well, clearly it’s because of the three million other hungry people crammed into your bar area. Still, we’ll try to be patient, because we love the atmosphere lent by the century-old former feed-and-seed store, and because we have an obsessive craving for your chicken tortilla soup.

    $12 to $15 per person, Authentic Mexican food, great atmosphere and friendly wait staff! Cool fish pond with fish with personalities! no kidding! great part of town too, Soco - south congress has some great op shops and cowboy boot stores! but Guero's is awesome! if you like authentic tasting mexican food this is the place! Try the house margie too!!!

    There is a whole list of margaritas featuring different tequillas - all with fresh lime juice. The tacos al pastor are great. Try the appetizer size - somehow the ratios of filling to tortilla is better than on the regular size. The tortilla soup is also great. The service is basic and friendly.
