    eastside cafe is quintessentially austin. they always have simple, fresh, delicious food. i love dining in a place that feels like someone's home. my favorites are the fish dishes and i always enjoy the creative fruit soups. i mean, where else can you get fruit soups? you will definitely have room for dessert, as the portion sizes make sense (not texas-sized). go here for a pleasant dining experience with fresh food that makes you feel good about eating.
