Welcome to Rhode Island's only hostel, run by an informal and knowledgeable host. Book as early as you can. The tiny guesthouse contains fixings for a simple breakfast, a laundry machine and spare, clean digs in a dormitory room. Private rooms are available but you need to enquire by email.

We offer comfortable dorm accommodations by the sea in beautiful, historic Newport, Rhode Island. Private rooms are available but cannot be booked online. Please contact us for availability.
The guesthouse is located on the 2nd floor in a newly-renovated historic home known as the William Gyles House. Free wireless Internet capability is available at the hostel (WIFI). Bicycles are available for hire. Free street parking is nearby.
The dining room/common room is packed with Newport and travel information and other reading materials. The kitchen is equipped with essentials.
In Newport you will have the opportunity to get a taste of America's former Colonial life and opulent times of the Guilded Age, enjoy the crashing surf of beautiful beaches, participate in some of the numerous special events and festivals held here, and be a part of Newport's vibrant night life. All of this is within walking distance of the guesthouse.
