Lonely Planet review
Stone cottages (c 1940s) and rooms in two 1929 railroad-cabooses and a former Grand Canyon Railway coach-car offer a quirky alternative to a standard motel. Kids especially love the cozy caboose rooms, with bunks and modern conveniences; rates for the larger one include up to six guests, while five people can fit into the smaller one.
Motel rooms vary in quality and style, and can be rather dated, so check options.
