Lonely Planet review
This multipurpose venue has cinder-block walls, and overlooks a junkyard on one side and the railyard on the other. The rooms smell like gasoline, but it’ll do in a pinch. There’s an attached restaurant, bar, laundry and grocery store, and this is the only hotel open outside the summer season.
Our independent authors have visited Anchor Inn and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Whittier.
