The buses of Alaska Direct Bus Line (800-770-6652) all pass through Tok on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays, stopping at the village Texaco a short distance southeast of the highway junction down the Alcan. From there they head northwest to Fairbanks ($70), southwest to Anchorage ($92), and southeast to Whitehorse ($125), where you can transfer to a bus to Skagway.

Alaska/Yukon Trails (479-2277, 800-770-7275) runs buses daily between Fairbanks and Tok ($55 one way with a two person minimum), continuing on over Taylor and Top of the World Hwys to Dawson City, Yukon.
