Alaska Marine Highway (907-747-8737, 800-642-0066; www.ferryalaska.com) ferries stop almost daily at the terminal, which is 7 miles north of town. Ferry Transit Bus (907-747-8443; one-way/round-trip $6/8) will take you into town.
