Sadly, there are no ferries to Seward as the Alaska Marine Highway eliminated service in 2006. Seward Bus Lines (907-224-3608; www.sewardbuslines.net) runs daily to Anchorage ($45, 2½ hours). Alaska Railroad (800-544-0552; www.alaskarailroad.com) takes a spectacular daily route to Anchorage ($65, four hours).
