Places in Prince William Sound
Cut off from Alaska’s road system, this quaint cluster of rainforest-rotted homes on a hillside overlooking the busy harbor is the prettiest city in Prince William Sound. It's also an excellent jumping off point for hikes, bikes and paddles into the surrounding wilderness, which lacks the snow-capped grandeur of Valdez but is impressive nonetheless.
